Greetings, Falcon families!

  • Last day of classes is Thursday – Field days for each grade highlight the end of the 2034-24 school year. Freshmen and sophomores have a field day on Wednesday, and juniors have a field day on Thursday, the last day of classes. Regents exams resume Friday, and Class of 2024 graduation is Sunday, June 30.
  • Regents exam schedule – June Regents exams resume next Friday and will take place through June 25. Get a schedule of upcoming test times and dates.
  • Attention families of juniors – Upstate Images will be at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High next Monday-Friday to take senior portraits, and you need to make an appointment for one. You can either sign up for a yearbook portrait, which is free and consists of either a tux or drape against a blue background, or choose a package with different options for dress, background and cost.   • Tennis interest meeting – Student-athletes (grades 9-12 in 2024-25) interested in playing on the girls' tennis tennis team next fall should plan on attending a meeting at the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High tennis courts next Tuesday (June 11) at 3:30 p.m.
  • Fall athletics – If you're interested in playing a fall sport, be sure to and make note of coaching information.
  • Dance recital a blast – Students in Brian Harington, John Magg-Tanchak and Megan Malette’s classes on Friday. They’ve been taking dance class since January with teacher Donna Mannarino, and they rocked the house with tunes like the Jackson Five’s “Blame It on the Boogie,” Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” and more.
  • Making change in their community – On Thursday, some 27 ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High seniors taking Civics and Public Engagement showcased their year-long projects tackling social justice issues that are important to them. Subjects they analyzed ranged from school safety to mental health to immigration to human rights.
  • Seniors: send us a photo by June 14 – . We're also collecting photos showcasing seniors in clothes wearing tell us about their post-graduation plans, whether it’s college, the military, volunteering or straight into the workforce. Send a photo here and we'll add it to our ongoing Facebook album.
  • Saving lives – Congratulations to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High School blood drive coordinators Nathan Martel and Anya Stetzer and faculty adviser Alicia Abdul for meeting and exceeding their goal at Wednesday's blood drive! .
  • Congratulations to Tommy Bishop – The was named to the second team All-Stars for the Suburban Council!
  • Flag football recognitions – Two Falcons on the flag football team were honored by the Suburban Council for their incredible prowess on the turf this spring.
  • Goals for Greatness – CityLax provided our Falcon (and future Falcon) lacrosse players the opportunity to train with professional players last Friday.
  • Shining on the diamond – Fresh off their basketball championship, student-athletes enrolled in ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High's unified athletic program tackle another sport, !
  • Congrats to our 2024 MBK Fellows – Juniors Rashad Miller and Troy Treece have been selected to take part in a prestigious fellowship program started by former President Barack Obama. Miller and Treece were inducted into the 2024 My Brother's Keeper Fellowship program on May 30.
