News of the week
- Spirit Week starts Monday – Get psyched for next weekend's Homecoming festivities by taking part in .
- Community blood drive Wednesday – Roll up your sleeve and save a life! ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High will host its first blood donation drive of the school on Wednesday in the library between 8 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Learn more and sign up to donate.
- Open House Wednesday – Come to our annual open house on Wednesday from 5:30-8 p.m., where you'll be welcomed then meet teachers while you follow a shortened version of your student's daily schedule. Learn more about open house.
- Important safety reminders – Please do NOT stop or park your vehicle on Washington Avenue in front of school when dropping off or picking up students. Instead, pull your vehicle into the school parking lot off Washington Avenue and form a waiting line. These procedures apply before, during and after the school day. .
- Attention CDTA riders – CDTA has extended the grace period for tripper buses through Friday, Sept. 27, meaning students will continue to be able to ride CDTA tripper buses for free through that date. We ask that eligible students with an activated ID card still use the card during the grace period when boarding the bus in the morning and afternoon. See more about the extended grace period.
- Help with Hoco 2024 – We are still in need of drinks, baked goods and candy to sell at next week's dance. All proceeds benefit the Class of 2025. Use and thanks, very much, to all who have already contributed!
- Attention student athletes! – Fall sport photos are scheduled for Oct. 4 and and Oct. 11. Please report to the Annex Gym – in full uniform – five minutes before your team's session.

Important reminders
- 'Villian Cabaret' and prop donations – The Theater Ensemble will hold two performances of “Villain Cabaret” on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2 in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The ensemble also is looking for donations of clothing, furniture and household items to supplement their supply of props. - The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Booster Club (ABC) needs your help – Please considering during the fall season. In addition to student-athletes, the ABC funds: author visits, our food pantry, marching band, robotics, indoor percussion, Junior ROTC and many more organizations and groups that make our district special!
- Student parking update –There will be no student parking on campus during September. However, juniors and seniors may apply online for limited spots in the Washington Avenue lot that will become available starting in October. Learn more and link to the parking application.
- Visitor parking – Any visitors who park in the Washington Avenue lot should only park in the designated parking spaces and should not park on the yellow crosshatched lines.
- Attention grades 10-11! - ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú High School will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) on Friday, Oct. 25 at 8:30 a.m. There is no school this day due to staff development and parent-teacher conferences. The cost is $18.
