Students were hard at work on their English Language Arts (ELA) skills the morning of Dec. 20. The lesson began with a group activity on the carpet before students moved to their desks to work on rhyming and vowel sound exercises. As they finished their hands-on activity, students traded glue sticks and scissors for stories as they engaged in some quiet reading.
