Congratulations to eighth grader Mohammed Ali, who proudly represents O'Neal Middle School in the district's 2019-20 wall calendar.
Mohammed was recognized at a special reception on Oct. 2.
Mohammed is gentle and kind, and he really values his education. Most importantly, he recognizes and appreciates the time and effort his teachers put into teaching and will tell them that. He internalizes all of his learning opportunities and how they affect his life. He puts 100 percent effort into all of his work, all the time. In his spare time, Mohammed plays soccer with friends.
Mohammed moved to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú from Yemen by way of Malaysia in 2017. He started at Sheridan Prep knowing very little to no English. You wouldn't know that to this day, because he has mastered the language in two short years. Mohammed is well loved in school because he has great respect for staff, other students and his family.
If all people were like Mohammed, this world would be a kinder and gentler place. That’s why Edmund J. O’Neal Middle School of Excellence is proud to recognize her as a student of excellence in this year’s calendar.
